Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer Talk #1

Sony Pictures/ Marvel

The Spider-Man Homecoming trailer dropped today and it wasn’t up to par with the rest Marvel. The trailer was underwhelming. Not only is this trailer too long, 2 minutes and 40 seconds on the Marvel YouTube channel, it also gives everything away in chronological order. Normally, I am a huge Marvel fan, but this movie is going to be as mediocre as Justice Leauge. This is the one Marvel movie that I’m not excited to see. But sadly, if you want to watch Avengers: Infinity War, skipping this movie is not an option. It seems like the studio tried to make the movie more exciting and interesting by putting Iron Man in it. Ever since the new Spider-Man was introduced in Civil War, I haven’t been a fan. He talks way too much. We’ve been through 2 live action adaptations of Spider-Man in the past 12 years. This is including the Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. Andrew Garfield has always been my favorite Spider-Man, but he never would have been included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man Homecoming is the third adaptation. If this fails, we’re stuck with it until after Avengers: Infinity War. I predict that this movie will be the lowest rated MCU movie. Maybe a 62% or 65% on Rotten Tomatoes. Lower than Thor: The Dark World and The Incredible Hulk. This movie comes out July 7, 2017
